ABOUT SAM WARNER-BAKER
FROM TRADING FLOORS TO TRADER DEVELOPMENT
Trader. Educator. Author. Coach.
Meet Sam Warner-Baker
Trading has shaped most of my adult life.
For more than 20 years, I’ve traded global financial markets, built and led trading teams, taught at university level, coached aspiring traders and worked with brokers, exchanges and financial institutions around the world.
But what keeps me interested isn’t trading itself.
It’s helping people realise they’re capable of more than they thought possible. That idea sits at the heart of Teach the World to Trade.

My Mission
THE QUESTION THAT SHAPED MY CAREER
When I first entered the markets, I thought success would come from finding better trades.
I was wrong.
Over time, I became fascinated by a different question:
Why do some traders succeed while others, with similar knowledge and opportunities, struggle?
That question shaped the next two decades of my career.
It took me through professional trading firms, trading floors, universities, coaching programmes and leadership roles across the industry.
What I discovered was surprisingly simple.
The best traders rarely have access to secret information.
They simply develop better habits, stronger processes and greater discipline.
• They prepare differently.
• They think differently.
• They evaluate differently.
That realization became the foundation of everything I teach today.
Professional trading floor experience — learning first-hand how traders prepare, think and make decisions under pressure.
THE FOUR PRINCIPLES OF PROFESSIONAL TRADING
Everything we teach at Teach the World to Trade is built around four simple principles.
Not shortcuts.
Not predictions.
A repeatable framework for long-term success.
Preparation
The best traders prepare before they trade. Build knowledge, understand the market, define your plan and know exactly what you're looking for before risking capital.
Process
Professionals trust a process, not emotions. Every trade follows a structured checklist designed to improve the quality and consistency of decision-making.
Practice
Skill comes from deliberate practice. Review trades, refine your approach and develop the habits that separate professionals from amateurs.
Win or Learn
Every trade has value. Successful traders don't measure progress by profit alone. They measure it by the quality of their decisions and continually improve over time.
These four principles form the foundation of every course, programme and resource at Teach the World to Trade.
Trading didn't change my life because of the money.
It changed my life because of the person it required me to become.
Over the years, the markets taught me lessons that reach far beyond trading.
- Patience before action.
- Discipline over emotion.
- Preparation before opportunity.
- Process over prediction.
- Responsibility for every decision.
- Humility when I’m wrong.
- Curiosity to keep learning.
- Resilience when things don’t go to plan.
Those lessons made me a better trader. More importantly, they made me a better coach, leader, husband, father and lifelong student. That’s why I created Teach the World to Trade. Not simply to teach people how to trade… …but to help them develop a skill that can change the way they think, make decisions and approach challenges for the rest of their lives.

What I Believe About Trading
Trading Can Be Learned Professional trading isn’t reserved for a select few. With the right knowledge, process and practice, anyone can improve.
Discipline Beats Talent
Consistency isn't built on intelligence alone. It's built on habits, preparation and disciplined execution.
Process Beats Prediction
No one knows what markets will do next. Successful traders prepare for probabilities rather than trying to predict certainty.
Every Mistake Is Data
Losses and mistakes aren't failures—they're opportunities to learn, adapt and improve.
Financial Education Should Be Accessible
Everyone deserves access to honest, professional trading education without hype, false promises or shortcuts.
Everything we build at Teach the World to Trade is designed around these principles. They’re the foundation of our courses, our coaching and our community.
WHY I CREATED TEACH THE WORLD TO TRADE
- Some had expensive courses.
- Some had free content.
- Some had years of experience.
If it moves, you can make money out of it. But first, you have to learn how to think like a professional.

A PERSONAL NOTE
If there is one lesson I have learned from more than 20 years in the markets, it is this:
Success in trading is not about predicting the future.
It is about preparing for it.
And better decisions lead to better outcomes.
Throughout my career, I have learned that progress rarely comes from winning alone.
Some of the greatest lessons come from setbacks, mistakes and challenges—provided we are prepared to reflect, adapt and improve.
That principle sits at the heart of Teach the World to Trade:
Prepare. Follow the process. Practice deliberately.
WIN OR LEARN
